Call out for help

Felix Family Villages in partnership with our friends from Bangladesh, represented by Assemblies of God Church Bangladesh and Berndt Social Service Bangladesh (BSS) have joined forces in order to distribute food relief packages to families and children that are facing the threat of hunger due to Covid-19 in Bangladesh. 
We are aware that the entire world is struggling at the moment, but if God puts on your heart to help put food on the table of these families we would be very grateful. As we are going through this pandemic together, please join us in providing essential resources they need to live to those who are suffering.

Dear God’s people, 

We trust God for our protection. He is the great I am ( Ex. 3:14 ).

We thank God for the protection of our people from the onslaught of Corona virus as we are still less affected country. But at the same time we pray for the countries & people suffering badly that the healing grace will come upon them from the mercy throne room of God.  Here we have a different concern growing now, which is the food shortages the daily wage earning families are facing.  As the country is in a lock down situation already the families that live on daily wages are out of job & getting vulnerable. These are people around us who are living hand to mouth suffering with hunger. Many of them do not know what they will eat next. In this country people suffer hunger more than the virus affect. Our pandemic is food crisis for those daily workers who are out of job for more than a month.We have found out about 1300 families in our churches who are in a desperate situation. They could not also store foods for emergency.
From our church we have given to some people in and around our church. We give 10 days’ relief package for one family = 13 kg rice + 2 kg lentils (Dal) + 1 liter oil + 1 kg salt + 1 kg sugar + 2 soaps. The cost comes about 1000 tk = 12 $.

Our churches & able families are reaching out to help as much as they can. But the need is overwhelming and we ask all to pray & share resources to show love in action when it is so crucial for these families.
