Caminul Felix in Oradea, Romania has two villages with 16 families, each providing a mother and father for over 200 orphaned and vulnerable children. In addition to just living life, going to school, playing sports, learning to play musical instruments, attending church and more, the parents, children, and young adults in Caminul Felix are engaged in various activities and projects such as: tailoring workshops, carpentry workshops, farming (we have a working dairy farm with 400 cows!), automotive repair and more! All these programs are designed to help children develop, as well as teach them practical life skills.
Caminul Felix has also recently launched “The Assisted Home” where young adults from CF who have disabilities that prevent them from living on their own will be provided a forever home with the family support they need at Caminul Felix Village #2 in Oradea.
Caminul Felix has been called the model for the entire country by child protective services of Romania. We are incredibly proud of that and our goal is not only for kids to be raised well in safe and loving homes, but for kids to have the opportunity to go to university or pursue their dreams in whatever way they desire once they launch into the world.
The vision of Felix Family Village in Surat Thani, Thailand is to rescue children and young people who have been orphaned or abandoned and place them in loving families. Priority is given to children who have lost their parents due to HIV/Aids. Each child is given a family with a mother and father and siblings. Since its beginning in 2007 following the devastating tsunamis in Southeast Asia, ten homes with families have developed, each providing love and care for up to 10 children. The model is the same as in Romania but “Thai Style” in its outreach, service and parents who meet the social, linguistic and cultural needs of their Thai children.

For over three decades, Caminul Felix has been faithfully serving abandoned and orphaned children in both Romania and Thailand. The life-changing effect of having a loving mother and father in their lives has been transformative for hundreds and hundreds of children.
Now our hearts are compelled to reach orphaned and vulnerable children in the beautiful but war-torn country of Ukraine. We are ready to begin the process of buying land and getting it ready to build a family village with up to ten homes. Would you join the mission and help us?
